All are digital sections. An author may submit a maximum of 4 images in each section i.e. 20 total images for 4 sections.

No manipulation and alteration is allowed.

Submission of Entries to the exhibition implies acceptance of all its rules & regulations.

Image Specifications


Maximum File size: 2MB
Resolution: 72 dpi
Horizontal side: 1920 pixels
Vertical side:1080 pixels
Colour Mode: RGB/ sRGB
Image format: JPG/ JPEG
Image Title: must be within 30 characters. Preferably rename the Images with the Image Titles before uploading for hassle free uploading

Entries Rules


All Images must be the original work of the entrant. If two or more similar images are entered by the same author, the first one getting the acceptance score will be considered for acceptance or award, the other images will not be considered. Each image must have a unique title.

Words such as “Untitled” and “No Title” are not acceptable as part or all of an image’s title, nor are camera capture filenames or titles consisting of only numbers. Image title should not contain special characters like ' " ? # $ % ^ & @

Identification marks or title visible in the photographs will be rejected All parts of the image have to be photographed by the author who is holding the copyright of all works submitted. Organizers are not responsible for any misuse of copyright.

Entries must originate as photographs (image-captures of object via light sensitivity).Images may be altered digitally or otherwise by the entrant. Artwork or computer graphics may be incorporated if the photographic contents predominate subject to Colour Open, Monochrome Open, Wild Life and Photo Travel.

Eligibility


• Photographers from any Country - Photographers of any country or origin are allowed to participate in the Salon.

• Persons in the restricted lists - Persons in the restricted lists, that is, lists restricting persons from reporting acceptance,
  in whichever name they are called, to the organizations that have extended Patronage to this Salon, cannot participate in this Salon.

• Jury/Salon Committee excluded - Members of the Jury and members of the Salon Organizing Committee shall not participate in the Salon.

• Only one registration per person - Each person can participate under only one identification.
  Creating multiple log-ins under different emails of the same person is prohibited.

Legal Requirements & Disclaimers


• Pictures must originate as Photographs - All entries submitted must have originated as photographs.
  That is, images of subjects are captured via light sensitive on photographic emulsion or are captured digitally using camera equipment.
   All final work submitted must be on electronic file.

• Originality & Ownership - By submitting an entry, the entrant certifies the work as his/her own (aliases and proxies are not permitted).
  In the case of composite images created from multiple photographs, all photographic components used in the composite-image must
   have been photographed by the entrant and the entrant must hold copyright for all the components included in the picture.

• Right to use - The entrant permits Youth Photographic Society to reproduce all or part of any of the photographs entered for the contest,
   free of charge for publication and/or display in media related to any activities of Youth Photographic Society.

• Misuse - While Photo siri will takes all precautions to prevent misuse of pictures submitted to the Salon,
   Photo Siri will assumes no responsibility related to any misuse of pictures in violation of the copyright held by the owner.

Publishing Results


• Jury Panel has the final say - The decision of the Panel of Judges is final and binding with respect to selection of pictures for awards.
   No further appeal questioning the correctness of decisions will be entertained.

• Web-site will display results - This Salon website will be the primary channel for release of results followed by emails to all the winners.

• Digital Catalog - AlvasChaayachitra Photo Siri will issue a Digital Exhibition Catalog to all entrants. The same can be downloaded from the web-site.
   AlvasChaayachitra Photo Siri will not be printing physical catalogs to save paper and the trees.

Sections


An entrant's four images of each section will be distributed throughout four rounds of judging. The decision of the Panel of selectors is final and binding, no further appeal will be entertained. Report Cards will on our website.

Permission to reproduce images in the catalogue or for publicity is assumed unless otherwise denied by the author; if permission is not allowed, such work will not be considered for award.

All the images will be displayed with multimedia projector. Media type JPEG, Resolution is 1800 x 1200 pixels &colour space is RGB.
